AP: Your Clinical Supervisor

Your clinical supervisor (CS) is an experienced educator/administrator who acts as your adviser, observer, and assessor during the practicum. He or she provides feedback and support. You and your CS set up an initial, face-to-face meeting to get you started if you have not worked together previously. During this meeting, the CS may explain what to expect and work with you to develop an approximate schedule for your observations and evaluations. To provide appropriate feedback, your CS meets with you before (phone or email) and after (preferably in person) each of your observations, and at the completion of your final evaluation.
