Prior to the third observation, complete a midterm evaluation to review with the candidate and host teacher during the post-observation meeting following the third observation. The midterm covers the teacher candidate’s overall progress for the first half of the demonstration teaching (DT) assignment.
Prior to the sixth observation, complete a final evaluation and review it with the candidate and the host teacher during the sixth post observation meeting. The final covers the teacher candidate’s overall progress for the entire DT assignment.
If your teacher candidate is in a split placement, the midterm covers the performance during the first placement and the final covers the performance during the second placement.
The teacher candidate is expected to have no more than 4 "0, 1 or 2" by the final evaluation in order to
pass the demonstration teaching assignment. If you do not see continued growth and or have
concerns about the ability of the teacher candidate to meet all standards by the final observation,
