The cohort seminar attendance policy is a follows:
You are expected to attend every scheduled weekly cohort call with your assigned cohort seminar group.
Occasionally, an emergency may arise such as a personal illness or a scheduled school event you must attend.
You are allowed one absence from the cohort seminar calls that does not have to be made up.
If you must miss a second cohort seminar call, you may request approval from your cohort facilitator to attend a different cohort seminar call as a make-up call within the same week.
If you miss a third cohort seminar call, the Teacher Success team will meet with you to determine whether you will fail the cohort seminar or be required to participate in an extended cohort. The extended cohort will be held at the end of the regular cohort.
Leaving a call early, coming to a call late, or not participating fully in the call may count as an absence. The cohort facilitator may provide one warning to a student regarding leaving a call early, arriving late or not fully participating and subsequent issues will be counted as an absence.
