PCE Observation Guide, Log, and Evaluation

A PCE Evaluation (opens new window) is required for all program versions 201708 and beyond as explained in the PCE Placement Guidelines and Requirements (opens new window) article. The primary preclinical experiences (PCE) host teacher (some programs require a split placement), will complete one evaluation at the end of PCE to provide formative feedback for the teacher candidate based on their performance and demonstrated dispositions during the PCE assignment.

The Teacher Success Team will review all PCE Evaluations. If concerns are raised in the PCE Evaluation, the Teacher Success Team will contact the teacher candidate, host teacher, and program mentor to provide opportunities for remediation and feedback to prepare for demonstration teaching.

You can access the PCE Observation Guide, Log, and Evaluation for all program versions 201708 and beyond in the following table.
