If you have any questions regarding which Pacing Guide you should use, please contact your mentor or fieldplacement@wgu.edu.
Be sure you:
- Understand your Pacing Guide by reading, “How to Use This Guide” inside the guide
- Understand your deadlines and requirements by reading, “Understanding Progress Checks” inside the guide
- Work with your program mentor on how best to use and align this “Roadmap” to the timetable for your provisional acceptance and full acceptance requirements for your DT cohort. Remember, timeframes in these Pacing Guides are general
- Review your Pacing Guide every call you have with your program mentor to stay on track with the monthly outlined suggestions inside the guide

- Set clear & detailed goals with your program mentor to meet progress checks outlined in the Pacing Guide
- Set calendar reminders in your student portal, cell phone, or hardcopy calendar to help stay on track
- Share important progress check dates with your at home support system
- Reward yourself for your progress! Every step you make counts toward the goal of DT and graduation!
