How do I submit my personal Panopto video in Taskstream?

WGU currently uses the Panopto video platform as a way to share content with students. Additionally, students in select assessments personally record with or upload into Panopto. Only students in select assessments are provided recording permissions. Students can be assured that their videos are secure and automatically set to private.

Every video (either recorded with the Panopto Recorder or uploaded into Panopto) in WGU’s Panopto-hosted site is assigned a unique viewer link. You submit your video’s link, referred to as a URL. Click here for a video explanation of submitting a Panopto link in Taskstream, or continue reading below for detailed instructions:

If your video was recorded with the Panopto Recorder (or uploaded into Panopto) on or after August 1, 2016, you will receive an automated email notification when your video is ready to view. As shown below, you only need the “View” link. The other links in the email can be disregarded.

2. Access the assessment from your course of study and open the task directions.

3. Locate the “Panopto Video URL” form located at the bottom of the task directions or click on the “Links” button on the Taskstream submission toolbar.

4. Paste your link where indicated and click “Save and Return”.

5. Upload any other required documentation using the “Attachments” button from the submission toolbar within your task.
