Meeting IT Program Eligibility with an Industry Certification

One of the ways to gain acceptance into the degree programs offered by the College of IT is by submitting an industry relevant certification that transfers into the desired program.

Certifications must be current and you must have earned or renewed them within the last five years.

These policies are subject to change without notice, so please speak to an Enrollment Counselor (opens new window) to verify that your certification will meet the prerequisite for your program.

Bachelor’s Degrees

CIW certifications and the CompTIA Project+ certification will not meet program eligibility requirements.

You can find a complete list of which certifications transfer in your desired program here (opens new window).
