This article provides instructions for WGU students registering for the NCLEX-RN and applying for RN licensure in California. Begin these steps when you start the Role Transitions course.
When registering for the NCLEX-RN, please make sure to use the school code - US04501900
Important: new California nursing program graduates - Do not submit your application any sooner than 2-3 weeks prior to your graduation date. Studies show that graduates who take the NCLEX exam shortly after graduation are more likely to pass on their first attempt.
