Florida NCLEX Registration and RN Licensure Information

This article provides instructions for WGU students registering for the NCLEX-RN and applying for RN licensure in Florida. Begin these steps when you start the Role Transitions course.

You should apply for licensure and exam eligibility no less than two weeks before your anticipated graduation. Studies show that graduates who take the NCLEX exam shortly after graduation are more likely to pass on their first attempt.

Note: In Florida, you must attempt the exam within 6 months of graduation or you will be required to take a preparatory course before taking the exam.
