This article provides instructions for WGU students registering for the NCLEX-RN and applying for RN licensure in Indiana. Begin these steps when you start the Role Transitions course.
When registering for the NCLEX-RN, please make sure to use the school code - US48500800
You should apply for licensure and exam eligibility no less than two weeks before your anticipated graduation. Studies show that graduates who take the NCLEX exam shortly after graduation are more likely to pass on their first attempt.
Please use either Chrome or Internet Explorer and do not attempt to complete the application on a smartphone or tablet.
Please allow 48 business hours for the application to be received and reviewed. You will be contacted by a customer service representative with details of what additional documentation is required to complete the application.
Complete the above steps prior to graduation. Once you have graduated, follow the steps below to schedule your exam and receive your RN license.
Contact your Program Mentor with any questions about this process.
