Individual WGU employees may, at their own discretion, agree to write letters of recommendation in support of students they have worked with. Employees are, however, under no obligation to do so. Moreover, employees who agree to write letters of recommendation in support of students may not represent their position as the official position of the university. Under no circumstances may an employee offer letters or recommendation on university letterhead.
