How the Report is Compiled
This report is prepared in compliance with the Federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) of 1998 and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 (VAWA). It informs students, faculty, and staff about WGU’s security policies. WGU’s Compliance & Accreditation department is responsible for preparing and distributing this report. Compliance & Accreditation worked with other WGU departments and with local police agencies to compile the security policies and crime statistics included in this report.
We make this report available to all prospective students and employees by publishing it in our publicly accessible web-based student handbook at Current students and employees receive an email annually that describes the report and its exact web address.
