Arkansas Master of Arts in Science Education (MASE) Certification and Exam Requirements

This program leads to a certification in one of the following areas:  

  • Biology/Life Science (7-12)
  • Chemistry (7-12)
  • Earth Science (7-12)
  • Physics (7-12)


Graduates of a WGU Master of Arts in Science Education (MASE) grades 5-12 program will be eligible for grades 7-12 teacher certification in Arkansas in the area in which they pass the required Praxis exams.
