Arkansas Secondary Science Certification and Exam Requirements
Note: WGU students who want to become certified in Arkansas need to first license in Utah after completing their teacher preparation program; a student can then apply for a reciprocal license in Arkansas after receiving their Utah license. Additional Exams May Be Required After Graduation
When you apply for a reciprocal certificate in Arkansas, you will report your Utah test scores, and the state of Arkansas will either accept these in lieu of the Arkansas requirements or issue a one year provisional teaching license. You will then have one year to take any additional tests deemed necessary.
