The last day to take the Foundational-Level General Science Subtests 118 and 119 was 8/6/17. If you did not pass both of these exams by this date, you will need to pass the new 215 exam. The last day to take any of the Single Subject (120-123) subtests was also on 8/6/17. If you did not pass the Single Subject Subtest (120-123) for your content area by this date, you will need to take the updated version, listed in the right table above.

It is permissible to mix newer/older versions of the Foundational-Level General Science and Single Subject exams. For example, a Biological Science student could submit the older 118 and 119 General Science subtests along with the newer 217 Single Subject subtest. Conversely, a student could submit the newer 215 General Science subtest along with the older 120 Single Subject subtest.

All CSET exams must be passed prior to demonstration teaching, and passing scores for all required CSET exams must be posted to your degree plan before you are allowed to begin demonstration teaching. More information is found here. In addition, all CSET exams must be fewer than 10 years old at the time of credential application.
