Delaware ESL Endorsement and Exam Requirements
LICENSE AND EXAM REQUIREMENTS
In Delaware, this program leads to an endorsement in English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) K-12.
1. Content Exam: Praxis 5362, English to Speakers of Other Languages
You must pass this exam to graduate from the program and be recommended for your endorsement in Delaware.
This exam also satisfies the WGU Program Requirement.
Note: Applicants that do not have a degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the US are required to demonstrate English proficiency by taking the ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview and ACTFL Writing Proficiency Test.
Practicum: All WGU students in an ELL program must complete a 30 hour practicum. If you wish to receive a K-12 endorsement, you need to do your practicum at the K-12 level.
