Note: Delaware-certified educators can apply for certification in additional areas via the DEEDS online application system. Prior to starting an additional course of study, it is recommended that you apply through DEEDS for an evaluation of what coursework and/or testing you will need to complete in order to be eligible for certification in an additional area.  

 

In Delaware, WGU's Master of Arts in Mathematics Education (Middle Grades) program leads to an endorsement in Middle Level Mathematics Grades 6-8:

 

1. Content Exam: Praxis 5169, Middle School Mathematics

Or, if passed prior to 9/1/2013: Praxis 0069, Middle School Mathematics

You must pass this exam to graduate from this program and be recommended for certification.

This exam also satisfies the WGU Program Requirement.

 

In Delaware, WGU's Master of Arts in Mathematics Education (Secondary) program leads to an endorsement in 
Mathematics, Grades 6-12.

 

1. Content Exam:Praxis 5161, Mathematics: Content Knowledge

Or, if passed prior to 9/1/2013:  Praxis5061, Mathematics: Content Knowledge

This exam also satisfies the WGU Program Requirement.
