MA Science Education (MASE)

A) Adding an Endorsement at the Same Grade Level (Secondary > Secondary)

To add an endorsement at the same grade level, students must complete at least one methods of teaching course in the new endorsement area and the corresponding Praxis II exam(s). Follow the instructions for certification found in the Guam Certification Application Information article of this handbook.

B) Adding an Endorsement at a New Grade Level (Elementary > Secondary)

To add an endorsement at a new grade level, students must complete student teaching in the new area. Therefore, students should not enroll in an additional endorsement program (MAME, MASE) at WGU if they do not already hold a secondary teaching license.
