 Additional Coursework Required

Iowa requires a course in computer programming for the secondary mathematics standard license. WGU programs do not include this coursework. If you have not completed a course in computer programming prior to enrolling at WGU, Iowa will issue a Regional Exchange license which will allow you to teach for a year while you complete this course at an Iowa institution.

Practicum for MAME (Secondary): You must complete your practicum experience at the secondary (high school) level.
