Kansas BA Special Education/ Elementary Education Certification and Exam Requirements

2) Content Exam KS: Praxis II 5017, Elementary Education: Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment 

You must pass this exam to graduate from your program and be recommended for licensure.

OR, if passed prior to 9/1/2014, Praxis 5011: Elementary Education: Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment


3) Content Exam UT & KS: Praxis 5543, Special Education: Core Knowledge and Mild to Moderate Applications 

You must pass this exam to graduate from this program and be recommended for certification.
This exam also satisfies the WGU Program Requirement

4) Pedagogy Exam: Praxis 5622, Principles of Learning and Teaching: Grades K-6  

You must pass this exam to be recommended for licensure in Kansas.
