In Kentucky, this program leads to a license in Secondary Social Studies, Grades 8-12

1) Content Exam for Utah Certification: Praxis 5081 Social Studies: Content Knowledge

You must pass this exam to graduate from your program and be recommended for certification.

This exam also satisfies the WGU Program Requirement.

2) Content Exam for Kentucky Certification: Praxis 5086 Social Studies: Content and Interpretation

You must pass this exam to graduate from your program and be recommended for certification.

3) Pedagogy Exam for Kentucky Certification: Praxis 5624 Principles of Learning and Teaching: Grades 7-12

This exam is not required for graduation, but is required to receive a license recommendation from WGU.
