Pedagogy Exam: Praxis 5204 Teaching Reading This exam is not required for graduation. You must pass this exam to be eligible for an endorsement in Grades 4-8 Science if you have not completed at least six semester hours of reading coursework.

Depending on the grade level of your current license, Louisiana may require you to pass a Praxis PLT pedagogy exam to be eligible for your science endorsement. Please consult Louisiana's Add-On documents for more information on adding a science area to a valid Louisiana certificate:
Document for adding Grades 4-8 Science for all certificate holders
Document for secondary certificate-holders adding a Grades 6-12 science area endorsement
Document for all other certificate-holders adding a Grades 6-12 science area endorsement
