Missouri BA Special Ed/Elementary Ed Certification and Exam Requirements - Reciprocity Pathway

In Missouri, this program leads to a license in Elementary Education 1-6 and Special Education Mild/Moderate Cross-Categorical Disabilities K-12.

 

NOTE: Obtaining an initial Utah license is required to license in Missouri via the Reciprocity Pathway.

1) Content Exam for Utah Elementary Certification: Praxis 5001 Elementary Education: Multiple Subjects or Praxis 5031 Elementary Education: Multiple Subjects
 if at least one subtest was passed before 9/1/2014, and all subtests were passed before 8/31/2015.
You must pass this exam to graduate from this program and be recommended for certification in Utah.

2) Content Exam for Utah Special Education Certification: Praxis 5543 Special Education: Core Knowledge and Mild to Moderate Applications

You must pass this exam to graduate from this program and be recommended for certification in Utah.

3) WGU Program Requirement : Praxis 5543 Special Education: Core Knowledge and Mild to Moderate Applications

You must pass this exam to graduate from this program and be recommended for certification if you matriculated into the BA Special Education program on or after 9/1/2011.
