Missouri Early Childhood Education Certification and Exam Requirements - Reciprocity Pathway

In Missouri, this program leads to a license in Early Childhood Education Birth-Grade 3

 

NOTE: Obtaining an initial Utah license is required to license in Missouri via the Reciprocity Pathway.


1) Content Exam for Initial Utah Certification:

a. Praxis 5001 Elementary Education: Multiple Subjects* or

b. Praxis 5025 Early Childhood: Content Knowledge
*The Praxis 5001 exam also meets the WGU Program Requirement.
You must pass this exam to graduate from this program and be recommended for certification in Utah.

2) WGU Program Requirement : Praxis 5001 Elementary Education: Multiple Subjects

You must pass this exam, or a WGU Program Requirement exam previously accepted for the Early Childhood Education program, in order to graduate from this program and be recommended for certification. 
Note: Students who matriculated before March 1, 2012 are not required to meet this requirement.
