In North Dakota, WGU's Master of Arts in Mathematics Education (Secondary) program leads to a license in Secondary Mathematics Grades 5-12
Students at WGU should not enroll in programs designed to lead towards Middle Grades licensure in North Dakota. ND requires 10 credits of middle school pedagogy courses that WGU does not offer. 1) Content Exam: Praxis 5161, Mathematics: Content Knowledge (OR, if passed prior to 9/1/2013, Praxis II 0061/5061, Mathematics: Content Knowledge)
You must pass this exam to graduate and be recommended for licensure.
This exam also satisfies the WGU Program Requirement.
