New Hampshire BA Special Education/ Elementary Education Certification and Exam Requirements

In New Hampshire, this program leads to certifications in General Special Education and Elementary Education Grades K-6.
1) Content Exam: Praxis 5001 Elementary Education: Multiple Subjects (OR Praxis 5031, Elementary Education: Multiple Subjects if passed before 8/31/2015)
You must pass this exam in order to graduate from your program and be recommended for certification.
2) Pedagogy Exam: New Hampshire Foundations of Reading
You must pass this exam in order to be recommended for certification.
3) WGU Program Requirement: Praxis 5543, Special Education: Core Knowledge and Mild to Moderate Applications (for students who matriculated on 9/1/2011 or after).
You must pass this exam in order to graduate from your program.
