New Hampshire Early Childhood Education Certification and Exam Requirements

In New Hampshire, this program leads to a certification in Early Childhood (N-3)
1) Content Exam: Praxis 5024 Education of Young Children (OR Praxis 5022 Early Childhood Education: Content Knowledge if passed before 8/31/2015)
You must pass this exam in order to graduate and be recommended for this program and be recommended for certification.
2) Pedagogy Exam: New Hampshire Foundations of Reading
You must pass this exam to be recommended for certification.
You must pass one of these exams, or a WGU Program Requirement exam previously accepted for the Early Childhood Education program, in order to graduate from this program and be recommended for certification.
Note: Students who matriculated before March 1, 2012 are not required to meet this requirement.
