New Hampshire Middle Grades Science Certification and Exam Requirements

In New Hampshire, this program leads to a certification in Science (5-8).


1) Content Exam: Praxis 5440, Middle School Science (Or, if passed prior to 9/1/2014: Praxis II 0439, Middle School Science or if both are passed prior to 7/1/2012: Praxis II 0433, General Science: Content Essays and Praxis II 0435, General Science: Content Knowledge)

You must pass this exam in order to graduate from your program and be recommended for certification. 

2) WGU Program Requirement: a) Praxis 5440, Middle School Science

You must pass this exam, or a WGU Program Requirement exam previously accepted for the Middle Grades Science program, in order to graduate from this program and be recommended for certification.
