If passed prior to 1/5/2015: NMTA History, Geography, Economics, Civics and Government (16) may be substituted.

Pedagogy Exams

NMTA  Assessment of Professional Knowledge: Secondary (052)

Students must pass this exam before requesting a recommendation for teacher licensure.

 

If passed prior to 1/5/2015: New Mexico Assessment of Teacher Competency—Secondary (04) may be substituted.

WGU Program Requirement

Praxis 5081, Social Studies: Content Knowledge

Students must pass this exam before applying for graduation.
