New York Basic Skills Requirement
Note: On March 14th 2017, New York dropped the Academic Literacy Skills Test as a basic skills exam. While New York does not currently require a basic skills exam for certification, WGU requires that all students in the Teachers College take and pass a basic skills exam to qualify for field experiences.

|To ensure that WGU receives your scores and can verify your eligibility for DT, you must fax a copy of your official score report to the Scores Department at 1-801-606-7021 or email a scanned copy to firstname.lastname@example.org.|
