Ohio requires the passing of content exam(s) and a professional knowledge (pedagogy) exam for licensure.  As a student completing a program outside of Ohio, the Ohio Department of Education will accept content exam(s) required for certification in WGU's home-state of Utah or content exam(s) required for certification in Ohio.  Since Utah does not require a professional knowledge (pedagogy) exam for initial licensure, you will need to pass an Ohio Assessments for Educators (OAE) pedagogy exam to license in Ohio.
