In Oregon, this program leads to a Reciprocal or Preliminary license in Advanced Mathematics.
Important Note Regarding Field Experiences and Licensure

 

1) Content Exam: Praxis 5161 Mathematics: Content Knowledge

You must pass this exam to graduate from the program and be recommended for UT certification. This exam also satisfies the WGU Program Requirement.

OR, if passed prior to 9/1/2013, Praxis 5061: Mathematics Content Knowledge

 

2) Oregon Pre-certification Exam Requirement: ORELA Protecting Student and Civil Rights in the Educational Environment Examination

You must pass this exam before applying for Oregon licensure.
