Basic Skills Exam: Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators: Combined Test (5751)
The South Carolina Department of Education has established the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators Tests (Core)—Reading, Writing, and Mathematics—as the required basic skills exam for admission into a teacher preparation program. WGU requires all students who reside in South Carolina to pass all three sections of the Core basic skills examination within the first 6 months of entering the Foundations of Teaching (FOT) domain at WGU.
Go to http://www.ets.org/praxis for information on test dates, fees, and registration. The minimum required scores for South Carolina can be found by reviewing the SC Praxis Exam Requirements. (Note: The test code containing all three required sections of the Core is Praxis 5751.)
To ensure that WGU receives your scores and can verify your eligibility for DT, you must fax a copy of your official score report to WGU's Scores Department at 1-801-606-7021 or email a scanned copy to email@example.com
