Content Exam: Praxis II 5024, Early Childhood Education
(or, if passed prior to 9/1/2014: Praxis II 0020 Early Childhood Education)


Pedagogy Exam: 1) 0622 (paper) /5622 (computer) Principles of Learning and Teaching: Grades K-6;
2) 5203, Teaching Reading: Elementary Education

WGU ECE Program Requirement (for students who matriculated on March 1, 2012 or later. See the WGU Program Requirement for the Early Childhood Education program)
You have four options to satisfy the WGU Program Requirement.  You may pass any of these four exams:

1.     Praxis II 5001, Elementary Education: Multiple Subjects
2.     Praxis II 5018, Elementary Education: Content Knowledge
3.     Praxis II 5014, Elementary Education: Content Knowledge
4.     Praxis II 5031, Elementary Education: Multiple Subjects



West Virginia requires completion of demonstration teaching in a public school.
