While the Wyoming Department of Education does not require a basic skills exam for certification, WGU requires that all students in the Teachers College take and pass a basic skills test. Students planning to license in Wyoming must pass all three sections (Reading, Writing, and Mathematics) of the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators (Core) exam. WGU's minimum score requirements can be found in the WGU Basic Skills article in this handbook.

To ensure that WGU receives your scores, you must fax a copy of your official score report to the Scores Department at 1-801-906-5108 or email a scanned copy to scores@wgu.edu
